DPS Ranchi conducts investiture ceremony 2022-23

Ranchi, Sept 1: Delhi Public School, Ranchi observed the Investiture Ceremony for the session 2022-23 of Primary Wing on Thursday, marking the formation of a new senate.

The appointees pledged to carry out their duties assigned to them with sincerity, and efficiency at the oath-taking ceremony. The Chief Guest, Suman Singh (DIG, CISF) urged the students to realize the importance of opportunities that come their way and acquire skills that will make them worthy citizens who are willing to give back not only to their families but also to society, nation and the world at large.

He also said that each student is unique and the sky is the limit for them. With the potential to lead and a willingness to be on the right track, all of them will be the nation builders for the future.

Atharva Jhawar and Tanvi Priya led the student council as the chosen Head boy and Head girl respectively. Naba Rahman and Shambhavi Mishra were elected as Deputy Head Girl whereas Krishabh Prabhat and Anansh Jain as Deputy Head Boy. All of them in their speeches affirmed their missions and pledged to keep the flag of the school flying high.

The Chief Guest gave away the badges and presented the sashes to the newly appointed cabinet members.
Principal Dr Ram Singh in his address congratulated the senate members and added that the student council body of the school represents values of righteousness, responsibility, integrity and leadership. He said they are a rare combination of valour, humility, and competence.
