DPS Ranchi holds investiture cum felicitation ceremony

Ranchi, Aug 23: The Delhi Public School, Ranchi organised the Investiture cum Felicitation Ceremony on Tuesday. Niraj Sinha, DGP, Jharkhand were present on the occasion as Chief Guest. IAS Rahul Sharma and IAS Himani Pandey were also present on the occasion.

The programme began with the newly-designated School Appointees and House Appointees accepting their badges and sashes of privilege with a promise of allegiance.

Md. Afanul Haque (Head Boy) and Nashita Imam & Ishita Bedi (Head Girls) of DPS Ranchi, then acknowledged their duty and authority by upholding the School Flag handed over to them by the Chief Guest and Principal.

The Student Council of DPS Ranchi was ready then to take the oath of office and responsibility. It was followed by the soulful rendition of the school anthem “March DPS March”.

The school then applauded the high achievers of Class X of AISSCE 2022 in the Felicitation Ceremony. The Chief Guest presented the certificates to the students for their stupendous performance. These included 195 students who secured 90 percent and above in the examination. The students who achieved full marks in any of the subjects were also appreciated.

The school magazine DIPS TIME 2022 was also released on this auspicious occasion. It was followed by the dance presentation showcased by the students on the song “Aghaaz” which received thunderous applause from the audience.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Niraj Sinha congratulated the students for their meritorious performance and motivated them with his words of wisdom and blessings. He advised the students to tread on the path of sincerity and perseverance. He also commended the school system and lauded the prodigies for bringing laurels to the institution.

Principal Dr Ram Singh appreciated the students for their exceptional academic accomplishments. He asked the students to aspire more, dream high and achieve excellence in the coming years.
