Daltonganj, April 3: The Medininagar municipal corporation today rolled out drinking water tankers for residents living in dry zones.
Mayor Aruna Shankar, Deputy Mayor Mangal Singh, City Commissioner Ravi Anand and a couple of ward commissioners today flagged off a drinking water tanker for the residents of the dry zones.
Abadganj mohalla, Bairya More, Nimea are a few localities under this municipal corporation where underground water level is too down rendering tube wells and wells either dry or just a litre of water in them.
The deputy mayor said, “we would be pressing more and more drinking water tankers for residents here as summer is picking up.
