Jamshedpur, Oct 19:  A low pressure over the Bay of Bengal and an associated cyclonic circulation will have no impact over Jharkhand, said weathermen today.

According to a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre, most districts of Jharkhand will witness dry and clear weather for the next three days.

Satellite pictures also suggested dry and clear weather over Jharkhand for the next few days.

No significant synoptic condition prevails over the state.

The cyclonic circulation over east Bangladesh and neighbourhood persists and is now seen at 1.5 km above mean sea level.

The cyclonic circulation over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and the adjoining Andaman Sea now lies over the Southeast Bay of Bengal extending up to 4.5 km above mean sea level.

It is likely to move northwestwards and under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over central parts of the Bay of Bengal around  October 20.

The highest maximum temperature of 35.3°C was recorded at Godda in the past 24 hours while the lowest minimum temperature of 20°C was recorded at Ranchi.
