Jamshedpur, April 7: Most districts of Jharkhand would witness dry and clear weather on Friday, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre.
No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand indicated by the weather chart analysis.
The Western Disturbance as a trough in mid and upper-tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level was today running roughly along Long 71°E to the north of Lat. 28°N.
Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 34- hours. The highest maximum temperature of 37.1°C was recorded at Jamshedpur while the lowest minimum temperature of 17.4 °C was recorded at Simdega.
Weathermen ruled out Norwester activity in the next 24-hours. Ranchi Met Centre issued an alert of thunderstorm and rain for Sunday.
