DSPMU organises lecture on ‘Prospects of Fisheries in Jharkhand’

Ranchi, Sept 14: The department of Zoology at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) on Wednesday organised a lecture on the topic ‘Prospects of Fisheries in Jharkhand’. Keynote speaker on the occasion was retired Deputy Director Ashish Kumar.

The speaker addressed the audience and discussed on employment and other possibilities available in the field of fisheries in Jharkhand.

DPSMU VC Prof Dr Tapan Kumar Shandilya said that at present it is very beneficial to focus on fisheries for the growth of the economy.

Dr Namita Lal, Head of Department of Animal Science, introduced the topic, while the vote of thanks was given by Khalid Mehboob Khan.

All the teachers and students of the department along with DSW Prof Anil Kumar, Dr GC Baske, Dr Sajlendu Ghosh were present on the occasion.
