Dubai expo 2021: India all set for grand showcasing

Dubai (UAE), September 30: The Dubai Expo is going to start from October 1, where about 25 million visitors are going to reach from 46,000 organizations around the world. The expo will be held at the Dubai Exhibition Center in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).Dubai Expo 2020 will be the world’s biggest event after the Tokyo Olympics since the beginning of the ongoing pandemic.

Notably this Expo was delayed for a year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This expo will run till 31 March 2022 in which big companies like Tata Group, Reliance, Adani, Vedanta, HSBC will be involved from India.

From India, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal is going to inaugurate the country’s pavilion on Thursday. Interestingly, In this expo, pavilions of about 180 countries have been built and the India pavilion is the largest one that will display the emergence of a New India. 600 blocks have been built in this grand Indian pavilion that will continuously rotate. This rotation is the sign of the fact that India is progressing rapidly. The entire Indian pavilion has been built on 11 themes including Climate & Biodiversity, Space, Urban Travel & Connectivity, Global’s Goals, Health and Wellness.

The Chief Consulate of India in Dubai, Siddharth Kumar Bareilly, said that about Rs 500 crore was spent in preparing the Indian pavilion. Whose area is spread over 438 hectares.

Earlier in 2015, Italy hosted the Expo and it was held in the city of Milan. Japan will next host it in 2025.
