New Delhi, March 12: An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 on the Richter scale hit Iztapa, Guatemala on Sunday. Guatemala is a country in Central America.
As per United States Geological Survey (USGS), “The earthquake occurred at 04:39:11 (UTC+05:30) and hit Iztapa, Guatemala on Sunday, at a depth of 75.9 km”.
The earthquake’s epicentre was 13.784°N and 90.546°W, respectively. However, no casualties have been reported yet.
Earlier on Friday, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter Scale hit 101 km south of Fayzabad, Afghanistan on Friday at 07:57 am IST.
On Thursday, an earthquake of magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter Scale hit 285km ENE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan on Thursday at 07:06 am IST.
