Ranchi, June 15: The Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum Vijaya Jadhav is set to submit a report to the state government about the poor conduct of the district mining officer Sanjay Sharma and mining inspector Subodh Kumar Singh. Sanjay Sharma is said to be evading summon of the Enforcement Directorate or questioning in the illegal mining case.

Both of them are absent from the district headquarters without information and permission. In a press communique, the district administration has said that they have switched off their mobile phones and they are unauthorizedly staying away from the district headquarters.

The DC said that a couple of days back, the district administration issued them a show-cause notice. In the wake of their irresponsible behaviour, the administration has now decided to submit a report to the mining department and the state government about their poor conduct.

Notably, on June 8, East Singhbhum DC Vijaya Jadhav issued a notice accusing Sanjay Sharma of conniving with the mining mafia by not lodging an FIR against people involved in the illegal mining.
