Dhanbad, Sept 7: A total of eight long routes express trains including Howrah-Jammu Tawi and Howrah-Yog Nagri Rishikesh Doon Express crossing through Dhanbad have been cancelled between September 10 to18.
A senior officer of Dhanbad Rail Division said that Eastern Railway zone has cancelled several trains due to non- interlocking work for third rail line between Shaktigarh and Rasulpur railway stations under Howrah Rail Division. Among cancelled trains, eight are crossing from Dhanbad railway station.
Following the sudden announcement of trains cancellation, the passengers, who have booked the tickets in advance, have landed in trouble.
As per notification 13151 UP Howrah – Jammu Tawi Express train has been cancelled from September 10 to September 16 while 13152 Down Jammu Tawi – Howrah would be remained cancelled from September 12 to September 18.
Train no.19608 Down Madar- Howrah Express has been cancelled on September 12 while train no.19607 UP Howrah – Madar will be cancelled on September 15.
Train no. 12988 Down Ajmer– Howrah Express would be remained cancelled from September 13 to September 15 while 12987 UP Sealdah – Ajmer Express has been cancelled from September 14 to September 16.
Train no.13010 Down Rishikesh – Howrah Doon Exdpress has been cancelled from September 13 to September 18 while train no. 13009 Up Howrah – Rishikesh Doon express has been cancelled from September 11 to September 16.
