ECR employees to launch signature campaign for Old Pension Scheme

Dhanbad, Feb 9: Railway employees of the East Central Railway (ECR) will launch a ten days signature campaign from tomorrow (February 10 to February 20) for the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme.

The East Central Railway Karmchari Union (ECRKU) central general secretary Md Jiauddin after holding a meeting at Dhanbad today said that the campaign is part of the India programme. Besides railway employees, their family members would also sign on it.

The signature of railway employees across the country would be sent to the President of India.

“On the directive of All India Railway Men’s Federation general secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra, ECRKU central committee president DK Pandey and general secretary SNP Srivastava campaign would be launched in all railway divisions of zone from tomorrow (February 10) to install Old Pension Scheme in place of present  New Pension Scheme,” said Md Jiauddin.

For executing the campaign ECRKU central leaders today held a marathon meeting with  Dhanbad Rail Division employees body leaders and chalked out the programme.  

The ECRKU central leaders called upon the employees of the division to participate in the campaign for their genuine right to Old Pension Scheme.

Dhanbad Rail Division employees leader  OM Prakash, NK Khawas, Somen Dutta, TK Sahu, AK Daa, NJ Subhash, BB Singh,  Upendra Kumar, and Ashok Kumar also suggested for success of the campaign at the meeting.
