Dhanbad, June 18: In wake of protests against the Agnipath recruitment scheme, the East Central Railway (ECR) Hajipur Zone has cancelled 18 express and passenger trains that either generate or cross from Dhanbad Rail Division on Saturday, June 18.
Senior Public Relations Officer of Dhanbad rail division said that due to possible disturbance on track and agitation, 18 trains have been cancelled today for the safety of passengers and rail property.
Agitators had on Friday squatted on the rail track at Dhanbad railway station forcing the cancellation and delay of several trains running.

A senior officer of the RFP of the Dhanbad rail division said that security has been tightened for the protection of tracks and trains in the Dhanbad rail division in wake of agitation.
