Ranchi, April 5: The ED probing the laundering of Rs 1000 crore earned by illegal mining in Jharkhand raided the mining office in Sahibganj.
The present location of the raid is District Mining Officer (DMO) Vibhuti Kumar’s office but it may spread according to requirements and clues getting from there.
An ED official said the raiding team has four members. During the raid, Mandro Circle Officer (CO) was called up.
This is the second time the ED has raided the DMO’s office. Earlier, the ED had raided and got some clues from the frozen two crusher plants of Maa Amba Stone Workers operational in Marikuti Mouza in Mandra Circle of the district.
