Educational institutions to open in Jharkhand, All classes to start in 17 districts, classes 9th-12th to resume in seven districts

Ranchi, Jan 31: In view of the situation of Corona in Jharkhand, a meeting of disaster management authority was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Project Bhawan today.

Health Minister Banna Gupta was also present in the meeting. Keeping in view the current situation of Corona in the state, relief has been given to the public from the restrictions.

The current restrictions issued by the state government were in force till January 31. But seeing the reduction in the cases of corona, Mnister Banna Gupta said that as soon as Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh issues the notification, the new order will be implemented.

Following reliefs will be provided as per the meeting’s decision:

  • All colleges have been ordered to open.
  • Classes 1 to 12 will be opened in 17 districts, classes from 9th to 12th will open in 7 districts.
  • Schools will open in Ranchi from class 9th to 12th through offline mode only.
  • Classes 9th to 12th will open in Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Bokaro, Simdega, Chatra, Deoghar and Seraikela.
  • 200 people will be able to attend the wedding instead of 100.
  • All sports activities will start, matches can be held without spectators.
  • All coaching centres will open.
  • Shops will be closed after 8 pm.
  • Anganwadi centres will open.
  • Gyms will be opened.
