Ranchi: In the electricity theft case, action was taken at 3143 places of the state on Friday. In this, cases were also filed against many consumers. The raids were conducted by the State Energy Development Corporation. On the orders of the corporation, intensive campaign was carried out in fifteen districts of the state. The one-day campaign took place from six in the morning to five in the evening. In this total recovery of Rs 152.99 lakh was done across the state. At the same time, FIR was registered in 766 consumers on charges of theft of electricity. In this action the corporation had to take the help of the police administration.
