Khunti, July 23: Criminals shot and killed a farmer in the Kade Tubid area of Khunti district. The incident occurred on Saturday at around 8 am.
Chamra Munda was returning home after watering his fields when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him on the road, resulting in severe injuries. He was taken to Sadar Hospital in critical condition and later referred to RIMS for treatment.
Unfortunately, the farmer passed away during the course of treatment. Police have recovered one spent bullet and three empty cartridges from the crime scene.
