Ranchi, April 20: Jharkhand’s Kendriya Sarna Samiti filed a case against actress Rakhi Sawant in the SC/ST police station on Wednesday.
Rakhi uploaded a video on her social media platform on April 14 wherein she is seen making fun of the tribal community.
Hundreds of tribals from Ranchi took part in the protest outside the ST/SC police station in Ranchi on Wednesday in this regard.
Ajay Tirkey, President of Kendriya Sarna Samiti has said that the case has been filed against the actress and they want an apology from her. He has also requested the authorities to take strict action against her.
In the viral video, actress Rakhi Sawant is seen wearing an exposing dress and saying it is a ‘complete tribal look’. The video has become viral since she posted it on social media.
