Family members said Nibha was returning to her home in Lakhe after working from another’s house like every day, when suddenly a storm came during heavy rain. She tried to save herself and rushed towards Lakhe Shiv Mandir. Just then, a tin sheet which was uprooted by a storm from the top floor of Ranaji Height apartment came flying and fell on her forehead along with the angle. Due to this she was seriously injured. In the injured state, with the help of the local people, her relatives brought her to HMCH for treatment. Seeing her serious condition, the woman was referred to RIMS. The woman died on Friday night during treatment at RIMS.
On Saturday, the post-mortem of the deceased woman was done after Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal intervened. After this accident, the entire family of the deceased was scattered. Deepak Sao, the husband of the deceased, is mentally weak and he also works as a daily wage labourer. The deceased has two minor sons. Elder son Nishant Kumar is about 17 years old and younger son Nirmal is about 13 years old. Due to husband’s poor earning which was creating problems in children’s education and upbringing, Nibha started working in another’s house to meet the needs of the family. Due to her sudden demise of the breadwinner of the house, her mentally weak husband has to bear the burden of running the house and raising the children. Jaiswal assured all possible help to the family. “I will talk to the officials of the district to ensure maximum help to them,” he added.
