Jamshedpur, Jan 2: Most of the districts of Jharkhand woke up to fog and cloudy weather for the second consecutive day today.
The moderate to heavy fog took a toll on morning visibility at several places. The visibility was reduced to as low as 800 meters at several places in southern and northeastern Jharkhand.
Weathermen said shallow fog will prevail in most parts of the state during the next 3 days.
The Met department also issued a forecast of rising minimum temperature by 2 to 3° c in the next 48 hours. Thereafter the minimum temperature will witness a slight fall.
Notably, Ranchi, Bokaro, Deoghar and several other places today recorded a minimum temperature between 10 to 11 degree Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded around 15 degrees.
Weathermen said no major synoptic features prevail in Jharkhand. Weathermen also ruled out the possibility of rain in the next 72 hours.
