Jamshedpur, April 14: The fourth edition of Johar Haat, organised by Tata Steel Foundation, will be held from April 14 to 21, at Prakriti Vihar in Kadma.

This month’s Johar Haat will witness participation from over six different tribal groups representing five states. The theme for the current edition of Johar Haat is Colours of Jatra, inspired by the Oraon Jatras of Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal.  Visitors will be able to experience this theme through the décor of the exhibition as well as through various products, cuisines and performances.

Johar Haat was conceptualised to create a dedicated space for exhibiting the art, craft, cuisine and culture of tribes across India through a week-long exhibition every month. This edition of the Haat will host eight different stalls by various tribal groups such as Lambadi, Munda, Bodo, Santhal, Pradhan Gond and Koya from across India.

Workshops on jewellery making, jute craft and tribal cuisines will also be organised throughout the week at the Haat.
