Ramgarh, Aug 3: Pawan Yadav was brutally murdered by his friends for money transactions. Police arrested the four accused in the murder case and forwarded them to judicial custody on Thursday. Ramgarh Police had registered a case in this connection on August 2.
SDPO Kishore Rajak said today that a raid was conducted by the police team. “By collecting evidence in the case through a scientific method, two named accused were caught by the raiding party, from whom, after thorough questioning, two other accused involved in the murder case were also caught. The knife, cloth, motorcycle and mobile of the deceased used in the murder have been recovered and seized at the instance of the arrested accused,” he added.
“The arrested accused Md. Hamas and the deceased Pawan Yadav were close friends. Due to a dispute regarding outstanding money, on Tuesday, according to a well-planned night, Pawan Yadav was brutally stabbed in a deserted ground near Radha Govind School, Jara Tola. He was admitted to the hospital in an injured condition by police and local people where Pawan Yadav died in the course of treatment,” the SDPO added.
In relation to the incident, an FIR was lodged by the deceased’s family members. The arrested accused are Md. Hamas alias Mota, 21, Md. Azad alias Surya, 28, primary accused Kaushar Jahan, 55, and another primary accused Sonu Yadav, 19. All of them belong to the Ramgarh district.
The seized goods include a blood-stained knife used in the incident, blood-stained cloth of Hamas alias Mota, Sonu Yadav’s motor cycle No. JHO2AN-7631 used in the incident and the mobile phone of deceased Pawan Yadav.
