MANOJ SINHA

Ramgarh, Jan 27: Giddi police seized two 12 wheelers trucks on the basis of suspicion during night patrol on the Bundu road of Giddi-Naisarai road at around 2 p.m.

During the investigation of the coal papers by the police, it was found that the coal of Tetaria manure was to be dumped in Maa Chinnamastike Cement and Ispat Private Limited, Hehal. But the drivers said to dump it in Jharkhand Ispat located in Binjhar.

The police found that it was a case of selling the coal in another factory with the intention of misappropriating it.

The police arrested both drivers namely Krishna Yadav, a resident of Balumath police station area and Anil Kumar Gop, a resident of Chandwa.

Giddi police station in-charge Sudhir Prasad Sahu informed that a case has been registered against both drivers and the owner of both trucks over changing the route and selling coal to another factory.

Investigation is being done to find out who else is involved in the business of rigging this coal. Many more people involved in the case are likely to be arrested by the police.

“Even before this, on December 9, the Giddi police had registered a case of arresting the truck going to the Tetaria mine Balumath after loading the coal and taking the coal to Gajipur UP instead of dumping it at the Alok Steel Plant,” police said.
