Dhanbad, Sept 28: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supremo Shibu Soren has said that a family member of the Jharkhand movement martyrs would get a job soon.
Shibu Soren while talking to a delegation of Sonoth Santhal Samaj led by Dhanbad district JMM president Ramesh Tudu at Circuit House on Tuesday afternoon said that the plight of the Jharkhand movement leaders is in cognizance of the state government and one member of each martyr family would be given a job.

Senior Soren, who is affectionately called  Dishom Guru among his tribal supporters,  stayed at Dhanbad Circuit house for a brief period on way to Ranchi from Dumka on Tuesday. He reached Dhanbad at 1.30 pm and left for Ranchi at 3.30 pm.
“The State cabinet has already passed the proposal (giving a job to the kin of martyr leader). The Government has in this regard written to deputy commissioners (DCs) of all the 24 districts to identify martyrs of Jharkhand movement leaders in their respective area and report to the government on a priority basis,“  the JMM supremo said.
He also took information about the encroachment of tribal land in Dhanbad from the delegation and said the government has set up a commission for identifying such land to act.
“Guruji took stock of development projects launched by the state government and asked whether people are getting the benefit of it from us,” said Dhanbad town committee JMM  president Debu Mahto, one of the members of Sonoth Santhal  Samaj delegation.  District secretary Pawan Mahto, Lakhan Soren and Neelam Mishra were other members of the delegation.
