Earlier on April 25, the Indian Coast Guard and the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad captured a Pakistani boat with nine crew members near the state coast in the Arabian Sea and seized heroin worth Rs 280 crore.

The Pakistani boat ‘Al Haj’ was caught and captured by Coast Guard ships after it crossed into Indian seas, according to the defence spokeswoman.

Officials discovered heroin worth Rs 280 crore on the boat, according to the statement, and the boat and its crew members were taken to Jakhau port in Gujarat’s Kutch district for further investigation.

Notably, the Sir Creek area, which is located near Bhuj in Gujarat’s Kutch region is a 22-kilometer-long, 8-kilometer-wide marshy tract that is accessible for the majority of the year.
