Dahod, Oct 10: A truck and an autorickshaw collided on the Dahod-Alirajpur highway in the Dahod district of Gujarat on Tuesday morning, killing six members of a family, including a woman and a child, police stated.
The police have confirmed that all six individuals lost their lives instantly. The victims comprise one woman, one child, and four men.
“This accident happened at around 7 am in Patiya Zol village. The victims were travelling in an auto-rickshaw which collided with a truck. All six of the same family died on the spot,” an official said.
Police stated that the auto-rickshaw driver was critically hurt in the collision and was brought to a local hospital for treatment.
The police were conducting further examination into the matter.
