Varanasi, May 25: The civil judge in Varanasi court has transferred a petition seeking permission to worship the ‘Shivling’ discovered in the Gyanvapi mosque complex to a fast-track court.
However, because the fast-track court judge is unavailable right now, the matter will be heard on May 30.
On Tuesday, the aforementioned plea was submitted in the Varanasi court of Civil Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar and has since been transferred to Judge Mahendra Pandey’s fast-track court.
The Supreme Court had previously transferred the case’s petitions from the civil judge’s court to the district court.
