Ramgarh, Sept 25: The ‘Haat on Ghat’ programme was organised on Sunday near the confluence of Damodar and Bhairavi rivers in Maa Chhinnamastika Siddha Peeth, Rajrappa temple complex under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and Namami Gange scheme.
Deputy Development Commissioner, Nagendra Kumar Sinha, inaugurated the programme at the Ghat, under the Matangi project. The project aims to keep the rivers and other water sources clean, through recycling flowers and leaves offered in the temples.
The DDC inspected the incense sticks, gulal and various products being made by JSLPS, work done by Anganwadi sevikas and the stalls set up for the sale of traditional food dishes of Jharkhand.
The DDC, directed the deputationists to make the general public aware of the features and benefits of the product during the sale. On the occasion, Circle Officer Chitarpur Uday Kumar, Block Development Officer Gola Santosh Kumar, Block and Circle level officers and personnel along with others were present.
