New Delhi, Sept 25: Rashtrapati Bhavan announced on Sunday that President Droupadi Murmu will go to Karnataka from September 26 to 28 to take part in a number of events.
It stated that this will be her first trip as President of India to any state. She will inaugurate the Dasara festival at Chamundi Hills in Mysuru on Monday.
The President will attend the Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation’s “Poura Sanmana” celebration that day in Hubli, according to the announcement. Additionally, she will open the Dharwad campus of the Indian Institute of Information Technology.
On Tuesday, the President will dedicate Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s Integrated Cryogenic Engines Manufacturing Facility in Bengaluru.
She would virtually lay the cornerstone for the South Zone’s Zonal Institute of Virology during that time as well, according to the announcement. The President will attend a civic reception in Bengaluru that day that is being organised by the government of Karnataka in her honour, as well as the opening ceremony of St. Joseph’s University, it was noted.
