Dhanbad, Aug 4: Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sandip Singh has directed the concerned officers of the district administration to provide a national flag to around 2.5 lakh students of government schools for making the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative a success in the district.

In a high-level meeting with senior officials of the district administration, DC Sandip Singh ordered to provide the national flags free of cost to all cardholders, Panchayat Sevak, Aganwadi Sevika, Sahayika, Sahiya, school boys and girl students, all Sakhi Mandals, all district level offices, blocks offices and circle offices.

“All officers, staff and employees working on an honorarium basis will hoist the national flag on their houses from August 13 to August 15, while under the nationwide programme under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,  the national flag would be hoisted on government and semi-government office buildings from August 12 to August 15,” said the DC.

The DC has set up a team of senior officers comprising ADM (Najarat), district supply officer, district Panchayatiraj officer, district social welfare officer, district superintendent of education, Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) officer to ensure proper distribution of national flags and success of the national programme.
