Hazaribag: 16-year-old girl commits suicide in Kasturba residential school

Hazaribag, Dec 18: A 10th grader of Kasturba Gandhi Awasiya Balika Vidyalaya died by suicide in Barkagaon. On Sunday morning as this news came, the block administrative to police officer reached to this school situated in block headquarter and started a probe.

Officials said the girl hanged herself from the ceiling fan of the hall in which she was living with other girls. Early morning when a few girls woke up, they saw the dead body hanging.

According to police, the reason behind the suicide is not known yet. They said they are probing the matter and informed her parents who lived in Badam of Barkagaon. The deceased was identified as Nisha Kumari (16).

Her dead body was sent to Sheikh bhikhari medical college and hospital for postmortem. Probe on.
