Ranchi, Dec 18: In Jharkhand’s Sahebganj, a man has been arrested for reportedly slicing his wife’s body into 12 pieces inside the jurisdiction of the Borio police station.
On Saturday night around 6:00 pm, a woman’s dismembered body was discovered inside an old house in the Santhali Momin Tola neighbourhood, according to the police.
According to an initial investigation, the accused deceived the victim by promising to marry her.
Rubika Pahadin, the victim, was allegedly murdered by her husband Dildar Ansari. According to the police, Rubika is Dildar’s second wife, and the two have been dating for the past two years.
The incident was discovered when the woman’s relatives went to the police to report her missing, and during the course of the inquiry, officers found Rubika’s mutilated body.
