Hazaribag, Aug 24: Two bodies, one of a boy and the other of a girl, have been found in a closed stone quarry in the Chameli Jharna under the Padma police station area. The recovery of two bodies has sparked panic in the area. Police are trying to ascertain the identity of the duo and have started the probe.

Police officials said it’s tough to identify the bodies as both are completely decomposed.

This morning, seeing the bodies floating in Chameli waterfall, the villagers around informed the Padma police. Padma police station officer-in-charge Shivdayal Singh reached the spot.

With the help of the people, both the bodies were fished out. Later, SI Manoj Kumar of the Ichak police station reached the Chameli Jharna. In the presence of the police officers of both the police stations, the bodies were sent to Hazaribag for postmortem.

The girl was wearing black jeans and a pink shirt, while the boy was wearing black jeans and a shirt. The age of both is estimated around 16 to 21 years.

Police didn’t rule out the possibility of this case as the outcome of love, murder, suicide or slipping during a picnic. Keeping all these points in the centre, the police of both police stations are engaged in the investigation.
