In the course of the investigation, Naina Kumari, the wife of the deceased, was brought to the inquiry station, and she said that due to a love affair with her lover Monu Paswan alias Manohar Kumar, she called her lover and got her husband killed. After this revelation, the police, in a quick action arrested the lover Monu Paswan alias Manohar Kumar and his accomplice Omprakash Sinha The police also seized the weapon used in the murder. The seized items include two country-made pistols, one country-made revolver, five used cartridges, five live cartridges, black colour Pulsar bike used in the incident and three mobiles.
