Hazaribag, Nov 23:Under the aegis of the department of school education and literacy, an educational counselling session was organised for boys and girls of class 9 to 12 of the government schools of Hazaribag on Wednesday in the district School.
Keeping in mind ‘Sab Padhe Sab Badhe’ at the core of the programme, chief guest deputy commissioner Nancy Sahay narrated her journey of success to motivate the children. While addressing the children, she said that you should evaluate yourself and make a strategy by identifying your strength and weakness. If you do this then you will definitely get successful.
She also stressed the children to read newspapers regularly.
Answering the questions, Sahay told to students to have a sense of respect for their teachers and parents who will help them in getting up after falling down.
The Deputy Commissioner also told the children that there are many myths about the Civil Services Exam.
“There is no doubt that it is one of the toughest exams in India but nothing is impossible in life. Only sincere effort is needed which definitely brings you to the goal,” she said.
On this occasion, trainee IAS Shatabdi Majumdar also motivated the children by giving appropriate answers to their questions. Majumdar said that there is no shortcut to success and honest labour definitely gets rewarded.
Coordinator of the program DAV principal Ashok Kumar, while addressing children said we should not be afraid of failure but should learn from the shortcomings and try again for success.
In the programme, many questions were asked by the students from different government schools in the district. Replies from Sahay motivated them. The students who asked questions in the program were also rewarded by the Samaritan organisation.
It may be known that this organisation has been doing many social responsibilities like teaching children of backward caste girls school Matwari and working for the welfare of Birhor children etc. from the past.
