Ramgarh, Dec 26: A major accident took place late Saturday night in Danua Valley of Chauparan police station area in Hazaribagh district. A gas tanker went out of control in the slopes of Hathiya Baba valley, after which the tanker completely overturned. After the accident, the tanker caught a tremendous fire.
Sources said,” Driver Bablu Yadav, son of Jagdish Yadav, and two others were charred to death on spot. A total of 3 bodies were found on the spot. 2 bodies have not been identified yet. One person is seriously injured. A total of 7 vehicles including a trailer, 14 wheelers dumper, truck have been burnt in the accident. Trees, plants and electric wires and poles have been burnt in an area of about 2 km.
There was chaos on GT Road due to which administration stopped traffic on the route. Taking precautions, the police stopped the vehicles entering the state near the Chordaha check post on the Jharkhand-Bihar border. At the same time, the road going out of the state border has been stopped from going on GT Road in front of Chauparan Bazar. Possibly a blast might also have occurred in the tanker.
