Hazaribag, Nov 8: The news of the death of a Chouparan youth in Bangalore sparked grief in the area on Tuesday with his family expressing its inability to bring back his dead body as they don’t have the money to pay for an ambulance.
The deceased was 24-year-old Dileep Paswan, son of Raghu Paswan and resident of Chakrasar village in Dadpur of Chouparan block, 65kms away from Hazaribag district headquarters.
His relatives said Dileep was unemployed and so he went in search of a job in Bangalore recently. He fell sick there and was undergoing treatment. Those with him in Bangalore said his condition deteriorated all of a sudden after which he was rushed to Lakshmi Para hospital where he died on Monday late at night.
His father said that Dileep was his only son and his economical condition is not good so he is unable to bring back the dead body here from Bangalore.
“I talked to some ambulance owners in Bangalore and all are demanding Rs.1 lakh to bring the body to Hazaribag. Where will I get the money to give them,” Raghu expressed his grief.
“I have lost my only son and also lost all hope with his death. I want help so that we can see him for the last time,” he added while breaking into tears.
