Hazaribagh, May.8: Police recovered 34 missing mobiles and handed them over to the concerned people under its campaign ‘Operation Bharosa’. Expressing happiness over the recovery of mobiles, its original owners expressed their gratitude to SP Manoj Ratan Chauthe and the police department. They said they did not expect to get their stolen mobiles back. It is a big initiative by the Hazaribag police, they added.
Chauthe said that this is the third initiative of the police when missing mobiles were recovered and returned to the concerned people. He said mobiles were recovered with the help of the technical branch and cyber cell on his instructions.
The total cost of all the mobiles was around Rs 5.30 lakhs. In this, a mobile worth one lakh rupees belonging to one Ijahul Haq, a resident of Patna, was also included. On the other hand, Sunidhi Singh of Charhi said that there is a need to bring the mobile thief to justice. One Priyanka of Hazaribagh had also tweeted twice to the SP for the recovery of her stolen mobile. The SP said that so far 200 missing mobiles have been recovered. Their cost is around 25 lakh rupees, he added.
