Hazaribag police recover head of beheaded body

Hazaribag, July.11: The Ichak police which was struggling hard to recover the head of a beheaded body, today found the head floating in the Kewat river of Padma block. Sources said the beheaded body was recovered on June 9 near Lotwa close to the entrance gate of Hazaribag Wildlife Sanctuary.

Sources said villagers today spotted the head floating in the river. They informed the police after which Padma and Ichak police reached there and took out the head. The Ichak police said they were searching for the head for the last two days. “Now it will help us to establish the identity of the beheaded body found,” they added.

Kumar Shivashish, trainee IPS and presently officer-in-charge of Ichak police station said the recovery of the head will now help them to reach to killers in this case. He said now they will able to ascertain the identity of the body.
