Ramgarh, June 6: A passing out parade ceremony was organized at the Jharkhand Home Defense Corps Regional Training Center Hazaribagh on Sunday.
254 home guards of Seraikela Kharsawan district excelled in the march past after 42 days of rigorous training. Hazaribagh DC Nancy Sahay inspected the parade as the chief guest. The march past had a spectacular view of the training of the trainees.
The DC said, “The performance of such a spectacular parade in training in a short span of just 42 days is commendable.” She congratulated the trainees for starting a new life in Home Guard services.
Hazaribagh SP Manoj Ratan Chauthe said, “With today’s training, you are starting a new life.”
The CRPF Commandant also greeted the trainees for starting a new life.
For the first time in Jharkhand, 254 trainees from Seraikela and Kharsawan have been trained to operate modern weapons.
In just 42 days, INSAS, AK-47 operations, daily drills to stay physically fit and yoga training have also been given. Training has been given to operate modern way AK-47, INSAS SLR, and 9.1 pistols with new thinking about safety.
Apart from this, Home Defense Corps Training Center Hazaribagh is the first such centre which has also established its own band.
Home Guard Commandant Ravi Kumar Kujur administered the oath of service to the trainees. The trainees took an oath to uphold the values of the Home Guard with discipline, faithfully perform their duties with reverence and true allegiance to the Constitution to abide by the rules of the organization. Training in-charge Sanjit Das, Company Commander Prabhu Ekka and other officials were present in the program.
