Ramgarh, Jan 21: A meeting between the higher officials of the Cantonment board and the district administration was organized in the presence of MP Hazaribagh Lok Sabha constituency Jayant Sinha.
The meeting was organised in the auditorium of Sikh Regiment Center (SRC) Ramgarh, regarding various development works in Ramgarh Cantonment area.
MP Jayant Sinha, Brigadier M Shri Kumar, President Cantonment Board Ramgarh Cantt, Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra, Executive Officer Cantonment Board MS Harivijay discussed the pending development of industrial and agricultural areas under Ramgarh Cantonment.
Important issues like resolving the problem related to the vegetable market, making the building by-laws practical and revamping the roads were discussed in the meeting.
Eight roads of the cantonment area are connected to Ranchi Road, IFFCO Factory Gate, Golpar’s Tiranga Chowk to Budhwa Mahadev, Saudagar Tola Road (NH 23) to Budhwa Mahadev, Basti beyond Bazar Tand in Parsotia (NH 23), Water Tank, Nehru Road to Rajasthan Kalewalay, Cantonment Workshop, Brigadier Puri Park to Bazar Tand via Gauriari Bagh, Ganninath Temple to Zara Tola School, Pochara Buzurg Jamira Road to Bhurkunda Road High Mast, including many others.
Important decisions regarding development works were taken including the roads.
During the meeting, MP representative Ranjay Kumar alias Kuntu Babu, district MP representative Prakash Mishra, Ramgarh Cantt MP representative Rabinder Sharma, nominated member of the cantonment council Keerty Gaurav, social worker Vijay Mewar and others were present.
