Hazaribagh MP, Ramgarh and Barkagaon MLAs take stock of DDCMC works

Ramgarh, June 27: The meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DDCMC/DISHA) was held under the chairmanship of MP Hazaribagh Lok Sabha constituency Jayant Sinha in the District Collectorate Auditorium on Monday.

Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi, Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad, Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra, Zila Parishad President Sudha Devi, MLA Representative Mandu and others were also present at the meeting.

Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Nagendra Kumar Sinha gave detailed information about the works done in the light of the instructions given in the earlier meeting of DISHA.

The MP said, “Corona is not over yet. New cases are being reported from all over India. So, we all must follow all the guidelines to prevent the infection.”

While reviewing the employment being provided to people under MNREGA and the work being done under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, MP Jayant Sinha took information from the concerned officers about their action plan to give maximum benefits to the people. He directed them to ensure wide publicity of the scheme using various mediums.

The MP also inquired about the work done so far against the target in different pension schemes from the in-charge Assistant Director Social Security Branch to get information about the benefits being received by the beneficiaries through various pension schemes under the National Social Security Program.

He directed the officials to make everyone aware of the schemes and provide them with benefits while also directing the newly elected public representatives to cooperate in this work.

 

 

Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi directed the Executive Engineer Drinking Water and Sanitation Division to work with special attention regarding the water supply schemes in rural areas and the problems of the villagers.

Expressing displeasure over the non-completion, she said, “It is important to complete the construction work at the earliest by removing the encroachments, completing the work of electric crematorium at Damodar river ghat located at Thana Chowk, ensuring electricity supply and road repairing.”

She also directed the Forest Divisional Officer to install street lights in rural areas to prevent elephant tussles and to provide timely compensation to the victims.

Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad talked about taking necessary action on the dilapidated condition of Community Health Center Patratu. She directed the concerned officials to work in a planned manner to get the road repair work done in various areas under the Patratu block.

Other than this, necessary instructions were given by Barkagaon MLA over the installation of high mast lights in various areas, construction of railway overbridge chair, the opening of paddy procurement centres as per requirement in Patratu block, water supply, and development work under CSR.
