Hazaribagh, April 4: The Bara Bazar police arrested two, including a woman from West Bengal with 37 kg of ganja (marijuana) from the private bus stand in Hazaribagh town. Confirming the arrest and recovery of marijuana, Sadar Subdivisional police officer Mahesh Prajapati said the arrest was made on a tip-off received by SP Manoj Ratan Chauthe.

Prajapati said both were trying to catch a Delhi-bound bus when Bara Bazar police station officer-in-charge Ghanshyam Kumar carried out a raid arresting the duo.

He said both were found sitting on the bus with a bag. When the bag was searched, they found marijuana. The two were identified as Dinesh Lete of Birbhum and Archana Dalai of Murshidabad.

He further added that they are interrogating the duo to know from where they got the supply and to whom they were to deliver this consignment.
