Ranchi, May 14: The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) University, Jharkhand was ranked the first in Jharkhand and 35th in India, among the private universities in India by Education World in its 2022-23 ranking of Indian Universities.
This is the third consecutive year that ICFAI University was ranked by Education World. The rank of the University in Jharkhand steadily moved up from third in 2020 to second in 2021 and to first in 2022.
Likewise, the University’s all India Rank moved up from 101 in 2020 to 63 in 2021 and 35 in 2022, as its overall score scaled up from 683 in 2020 to 907 in 2022.
The ranking of the Indian Higher Education Institutions was done by Education World, in partnership with the Centre for Forecasting & Research, on ten parameters of higher education excellence, which include the competence of faculty; faculty welfare and development; research and innovation; pedagogy and process; industry interface/experiential learning; industry placements and infrastructure & facilities, Leadership and Governance and Diversity of programmes offered.
Congratulating the faculty members and the students on the achievement, Prof O R S Rao, Vice-Chancellor of the University said, “It is an outstanding achievement on the part of the University to be ranked first among the Private Universities in Jharkhand and among the top 35 Private Universities in India. It was made possible due to the concerted efforts of our entire team of faculty members, non-teaching staff and students to improve the quality of teaching, learning and campus placements.”
“Several technologies enabled Innovative Initiatives are taken by our University to give attention to the individual needs of our students, helping in making all of our students industry-ready. Besides, the quality of our research has improved significantly in the last 3 years,” the VC added.
Commenting on the achievement, Prof Arvind Kumar, Registrar of the University said, “All of us are proud of this achievement, which will spur us to improve much further in the days to come.”
