Ranchi, Aug 5: The ICFAI University in Jharkhand has been ranked among the top 200 universities in the world by the World Universities with Real Impact (WURI-2022). The university was ranked 41st among all universities in the world, which number more than 6,000 in the parameter of industry application. The university was ranked between 51-100 in crisis management, especially during Covid-19 as well as in parameters of entrepreneurial spirit.

Congratulating the staff, students and alumni of the University on this achievement, Prof. ORS Rao, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI University said, “We are all proud of the achievement of our University among the top 200 universities of the world. This is all the more impressive, given that WURI is the second independent global agency to rank our university through 2022, previously the Times Higher Education (UK) Impact Ranking-2022.”

He further added, “Initiatives taken by us to address the Covid-19 situation by launching ‘Digital Learning Management System’, ‘Swadhyaya’, updating the curriculum to suit Industry 4.0, and moving the industry-interface towards excellent campus placements etc., enables us to achieve these global reputations.” Prof Rao said that these honors will motivate the university to further improve the quality of operations in the days to come.
