The Naxalites have planted IED explosives in the forests surrounding Gumla, Lohardaga, and Latehar districts in order to create a safe zone. However, the village’s innocent people are being killed by a Naxalite IED device.

In the year 2021, five villagers have been killed as a result of an IED explosion. A dozen persons were hurt as a result of the incident. In Gumla, two police officers were injured after being hit by IEDs.

Notably, there has been an encounter between the police and the CPI-Maoist organization on Thursday evening in the Naxal-affected Pesharar police station area of ??the district. Seeing the police getting heavy in the firing from both sides, the Naxalites managed to escape by taking advantage of the dense forest. A search operation is being conducted by the police against the Naxalites in the forests, it is being told that the police have got great success in this encounter.
