Moreover, all the students would have to give proof and undertaking that their no family member had Covid-19 infection in last  15 days before their joining the institution at Dhanbad,” said the official.

The official said students across the country are studying in IIT-ISM. Covid-19  infection is still in an alarming position in some states. So proof and undertaking of no Covid infection to any member of the family in the last 15 days have been sought from students, he added.

Six boys and girls hostels have been sensitized for the students who would join the institution from September 1. The official said from the safety point of view only those hostel mess staff are being allowed on the campus who have taken both the doses of Covid -19 vaccination.
