Ranchi, March 31: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is understood to have secured a court order to attach properties of illegal stone mining accused Dahu Yadav and his brother Sunil Yadav who have been absconding since last year after the special PMLA court issued a warrant of their arrest. The order was issued by the special PMLA court of Prabhat Kumar Sharma.

Dahu and Sunil Yadav are the natives of Sahibganj district and are associates of Pankaj Mishra who was arrested and charge-sheeted by the ED in the Rs 1000 crore stone mining scam.

The ED is also said to have secured an arrest warrant order against their father Pashupati Yadav and Dahu Yadav’s son. The PMLA court of Prabhat Kumar Sharma also issued arrest warrants against two private staff of Pankaj Mishra identified as Suraj and Chandan. They are accused of having provided a mobile phone to Pankaj Mishra to talk to different people to influence witnesses temper evidence while in the judicial custody.

Pankaj Mishra is the MLA representative of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Notably, the ED last year had launched an investigation into alleged illegal stone mining.
