Ranchi, Dec.28: The IMA National President’s Appreciation Award has been given to RIMS Neuro department senior resident Dr. Vikas Kumar. He was recognized the best young doctor of the year.
The award was given in the ceremony (NATCON 2022) organized by IMA in Prayagraj.
Dr. Vikas, who is also President of JDA in RIMS, has done many things to establish better relations with patients and doctors. He organized large-scale blood donation camps for the patients in the RIMS campus, in which health workers including doctors donated blood.
He was given the first Jharkhand Social Excellence Award-2022 for social work. In view of social work, he was appointed advisor to Ford for the second time in a row. His contribution in doctor development during the Corona pandemic was very important, in which he helped thousands of patients by forming a team of 30 to 40 doctors.
