Health minister Banna Gupta also agreed to set up a committee to review Covid RT-PCR and RAT test rates fixed by the government for private hospitals and nursing homes.

“ We informed the health minister that the new rate fixed by the government for private hospitals has become costly affairs as standard PPE kits alone come at Rs 250 while they have to pay salary to staff for the test . So,we requested him to  review,” said Dr Pradeep Kumar Singh.
