Jamshedpur, Oct 30:  This year’s Diwali on November 4 will have bright and clear weather, said India Meteorological Department ( IMD) on Saturday. IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre predicted rain-free days in Jharkhand till November 6.

” Dry weather is expected to prevail in most districts of Jharkhand till the first week of November, ” said a Weatherman adding that today’s satellite chart and other weather models suggested no atmospheric circulation which might impact Jharkhand’s weather in the next one week or so.

However, the forecast indicates a fall in night temperature by two to three degrees Celsius from tomorrow. The maximum temperature in Ranchi and Jamsehdpur was hovering between 28°C for the last two days, which is normal during this time of the season.

Night temperatures in most parts of the state were normal. Ranchi recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 17.1°C in last 24 hours.

Weathermen hinted at a change in wind pattern to northerly,  after 48 hours.
